About Faith on Fire
Faith on Fire was founded in 2018 by a small group of student-athletes looking to make an impact on their team that went beyond their respective sports. Built on the belief that experiencing God is the greatest victory any athlete could ever have while at Southeastern University, we exist to provide opportunities for faithful community and intentional discipleship. We continue to grow and seek God for direction and opportunities to serve our athletic community as we pray and believe for transformation that produces faith on fire.

Purpose
We want every athlete to discover a greater purpose. A deeper belonging. A mission and family worth doing life with. Faith on Fire is about making athletes first and foremost feel loved and valued where they are. Before anything else we are a support system and a safe place to discover purpose beyond the lines.

Opportunity
"By athletes, for athletes." What that means is that we exist not only to be served but to turn around in gratitude and serve others. The beauty of a student-led organization is that it provides young people in a formational season of life the opportunity to discover giftings and callings from the Lord as they walk alongside people in the same season of life where mutual encouragement is vital to a healthy community.

Accountability
Accountability comes from a place of love and understanding. Being unafraid to boldly walk alongside another person, praying and encouraging them to reach for God and the freedom he has called his children to live in.. No one better understands athletes than other athletes. We may be from different sports and different backgrounds, but we share so much in common, including our goals and faith that we're willing to fight for TOGETHER.

Leadership
We are a home to leaders. Leaders on our teams and leaders for the faith. Whether it's speaking, worshiping, greeting, planning, or faithfully leading by the example of integrity and character, we hope to build leaders up into their calling. Not just as athletes. As friends, workers, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, and so much more. We hope to be the beginning of a life of servant leadership you refer back to with confidence and hope because of the lessons learned at SEU.
